I have 3 children ages 9, 7 , & 5 and I have them in Jiu-Jitsu, boxing, and wrestling. I’ve boughten several kids boxing and MMA gloves for them. None of them fit well or work well except these. I think the mistake other companies make is that they have a one-size-fits-all mentality for kids, not to mention they lack quality. After all, how can a 11 yo & a 5 yo wear the same size glove? They can’t! This glove is different in that it has kids size small, medium, and large.

For my children the sizes worked out this way & fit perfectly (my 5 & 7 yo are 50th percentile for height & weight, my 9 yo is 90 percentile height & 75th percentile weight):

Small- 5 yo- Fit perfect.
Small- 7 yo- She did complain slightly of finger tightness when she tried it but could practice in them.
Medium- 5 yo- fit and could practice in them. But looked a bit bulky so it wouldn’t be perfect for grappling although one could manage.
Medium- 7 yo- fit perfect.
Medium- 9…

My 5yr old daughter has small hands so we weren’t sure we would be able to find the right gloves. These turned out great, allowing a perfect fit with well-placed bands to slip all five fingers in and a Velcro wrap for the wrists. It’s comfortable and still in good shape despite regular use. Good buy for a decent price.
